We are currently awaiting the Chancellors statement re help to the self-employed. We shall let you know what these are in tomorrow’s update. Until we have time to fully read and digest the statement then we will not be able to answer your queries except in general terms. Please await that circular to see if that answers your queries before contacting us. We are keeping clients as informed as we can in these circulars.
Meanwhile, a couple of important points:
If you pay your VAT by direct debit and wish to make use of the VAT deferral then you must cancel your direct debit to avoid the VAT being taken as normal.
If you receive small business rate relief then you will be entitled to the £10,000 grant announced by the Chancellor. We have emailed WBC who are administering the scheme in Warrington requesting how those grants are being paid and how they will deal with people whose premises, like ours, are currently closed. We will let you know any more info as soon as possible.
If you contact us using our new contact details, please try to use email rather than phone and address your query to a specific person rather than using info@. Please allow a day for us to respond if possible. We are receiving a large number of emails. If you do not receive a response then please then telephone that person. We are ourselves having instances of emails going into junk.
